Kiama Leisure Centre

Kiama Leisure Centre is a multifunction facility developed by Kiama Municipal Council. It also incorporates the Jamberoo Pool facility.

 

 

Activities at the Leisure Centre

 

Active over-50s - Gentle Exercise Classes and Water Classes. To accommodate those unable to travel distances, some of these classes are held at locations other than the Leisure Centre. See times and locations.

Aerobics - good exercise with excellent music

Aqua aerobics - Just the thing for low impact exercise!

Baby and Kinder Gym - helping children grow strong and healthy

Gym facilities and supervision - supervision is recommended

Heart Moves - recuperative exercise programs with fun in mind

Jamberoo Pool - open during summer months only

Kids Korner - childcare provided

Memberships available - a plan to suit everyone

Pilates - stretching for fun and exercise

Pool parties - book the pool for your special occasion

Public lane availability - for the self-motivated swimmer

Swim School - swimming for fun and safety

Other facilities

 

The centre has a kiosk with a wide range of confectionery, snacks and drinks. Catering is available for pool parties. Swimming accessories including goggles caps, ear plugs, swim nappies, drink bottles, back floats, arm floaties, kick boards, swim wear and aerobic wear are sold.

Visa and Mastercard can be used in the centre with a minimum purchase of $10. No EFTPOS facility is available.

Children's holiday activities can be booked at reception or by phone.

 

The centre also has a spa and sauna.

Guidelines for use

• The user must shower before and after use.
• The sauna is not to be used by a person under the age of 16yrs.
• The spa is not to be used by a person under the age of 10yrs.
• Spa and sauna are not to be used by pregnant women.
• Don't stay in either for more than 10-15 minutes.
