Blue Haven

Blue Haven has a major development, Stage 5, in process. This will make Blue Haven an even more comfortable and friendly place to live.

Blue Haven has a well established aged care facility and nursing home catering to its residents.

Aim:

To provide the highest possible standard of care and accommodation for residents of the Blue Haven Nursing Home, Hostel and Independent Living Units.

Objectives:

To achieve the above aim whilst ensuring:

• the independence, lifestyle and self-respect of all residents is optimised
• the village's operations are financially self-supporting, with any operational surplus being spent on capital improvements or held in reserve for the future benefit of residents
• policies and procedures are open to public scrutiny, through the Blue Haven Retirement Village Board, the recommendations of which are subject to ratification by the Council of the Municipality of Kiama
• compliance with the Retirement Villages Act and other relevant legislation.

A Disclosure Statement (pdf 208Kb) is required to be given to all prospective residents under the Retirement Villages Act 1999. It is designed to give you a general understanding of the features and financial arrangements of this retirement village, should you choose to become a resident.
