Kiama / Shellharbour Multi-Service Outlet

What is it?

Covering the two local government areas, Kiama/Shellharbour Multi-Service Outlet provides assistance with

• domestic tasks such as house cleaning, laundry, assistance with shopping and bill paying
• personal care such as showering and dressing
• social support such as the Out & About social bus trip. This is a weekly outing for people with a disability and is run each Wednesday during school terms. It involves active participation in a wide range of group activities such as ten pin bowling and outdoor BBQ's.

Who is it for?

• frail, older people
• younger people with a disability and their carers.

Process of referral

Referral can be made by individuals, carers, family members, friends or government and non-government agencies including health professionals. Referrals can be made by phone or fax.
