Centre-based day care

What is it?

Kiama Centre Based Day Care provides structured group activities to frail older people. The groups promote independent living and social interaction through a varied program of activities and outings. The groups operate on Monday and Thursday each week of school terms.

Who is it for?

Centre Based Day Care is for frail older people with low to medium support needs. Priority of access includes people with mild to moderate dementia.

Process of referral

Referral can be made by individuals, carers, family members, friends or government and non-government agencies including health professionals. Referrals can be made by phone or fax.
